We are a self-service dog wash and grooming salon located in Midlothian, Virginia and strive to be
highly active in our community. We partner with rescue groups in the area, dog walking/sitting,
training services, vet clinics, and all other kinds of out-door pet friendly events.
We opened our doors on July 1st, 2013. Although we have been in business for a while we welcome
any well-mannered comments and suggestions you might have to help us better serve you.
Our goal is to provide you with a clean, friendly, and safe environment to wash your pups that
won't ruin your back, your bathroom, or your yard!
Here at Bark and Sparkle we believe that no pup should have to miss out on their very own spa day.
It does not matter if your pup has a disability, health conditions, high anxiety, or behavioral issues that might
have proven troublesome at other salons. We will work with you to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet
and everyone involved. We are also a non-breed discriminatory establishment.Bark and Sparkle offers quality
dog grooming with great customer service. We enjoy helping our dog lovers learn how to properly care for their
dog’s coats between grooms and ensure each groom appointment ends with a great looking, happy, and healthy pup.
We also offer a Homebound Paws Service. This service is provided for senior citizens or the physically
disabled who cannot bring their dogs to us but still want to get their companion/best friend groomed.
We provide transport to and from our location. Contact us for more information.
Please enjoy your visit to our site and do not hesitate to contact us.
Linda has a bachelor’s degree in business from Averett University and has recently retired from 29 years with Dominion VA Power. Linda also recently stepped down as President of K9 Rescue of VA to spend more time with her family and focus on her growing business. Still committed to helping homeless dogs find forever homes led her to pursue other ways to serve her community and their pets.
Through Bark and Sparkle, Linda is able to ensure pet
owners in Chesterfield County have access to professional grooming as well as a way to wash their own dog
with ease and no clean up.
Linda envisions Bark and Sparkle becoming a major contributor to the community. She strives to provide personalized, widely available care and our Homebound Paws program is the first of many steps to giving back to our community. She believes that the faster we grow, the faster we can give back.
The scripture that Linda tries to live by is: Matthew 25: 37 - 40
